Becoming
24×24 Oil on canvas
She is not what she was,
nor yet what she will be.
Somewhere between the smoke and the silence,
she exists in the sacred space of transformation
unfinished, unbothered, unstoppable.
To become is not a destination.
It is the courage to dissolve
everything you thought you were,
so that everything you are meant to be
can finally breathe.
Dream State
24 × 48 inches
Oil on canvas
This work explores the idea of divine dreams and God-given ideas received during sleep. The figure rests in stillness while the face and hands are rendered with clarity, emphasizing the mind as the source of creativity and the hands as the instrument through which it is expressed. The surrounding smoke-like forms suggest imagination, spirit, and unseen inspiration moving through the body. The piece reflects the sacred space between rest and creation, where ideas are formed before they are brought into the world.
Letting GO
18×24 acrylic on canvas
This is what it looks like
to finally let go.
Head back.
Eyes closed.
No longer fighting what is,
no longer chasing what was.
Just this moment.
Just this breath.
Just the quiet power
of a soul at peace with itself.
They will never understand
what it cost you to get here
the nights you held it all together
when everything wanted to fall.
But you made it.
And this
this stillness,
this surrender,
this is not weakness.
This is the bravest thing you’ve ever done.

Unnamed
24× 48 acrylic on canvas,
She has been through enough
to know that no one is coming to save her
except the One who made her.
So she stopped looking sideways.
She stopped looking back.
And she reached.
Through the smoke of who she used to be.
Through the dark that tried to keep her.
Through every lie that said she wasn’t worthy
of the very hands she’s stretching toward.
She reached.
Not perfectly.
Not without scars.
Not without the weight of everything
still clinging to her body like smoke
But she reached.
And that is the whole testimony.
That is the entire sermon.
That is the prayer and the answer
all at once.
She reached towards God.
And He was already there.
